Worst Customer Service Ever

I purchased this unit from www.homedepot.com and when my contractor opened the unit several weeks after buying it he noticed it was damaged. I filled a claim back in early December and the technician who came out on Dec 18 verified the unit was damaged and not reparable. After that I was asked to send the receipt and serial tag photo for completion of my claim. Shortly after sending this information I was sent a second email asking for the same information. I called and was told their was no supervisor to speak with and the "back office" does not take calls. Several days later I got a third email requesting the same information. At that time I called customer service and again was told there was no supervisor and the "back office" does not take call. I made the customer service agent stay on the phone while I sent the pictures a 3rd time so she could verify they were received and uploaded. I was told I would get the final authorization to return the unit prior to Christmas, but no email. I call beginning of the week and was told they are delayed due to the Holidays and it would be another 10 days before they responded. Today 1 Month later I got a 4th email requesting the photos to be sent again! I called customer service and they said I don't know why you got that email I see the picture right here. Sorry there is no supervisor to speak with and the "back office" does not take calls. You will just have to wait for them to reply. My contractor is now gone and I will need to pay additional money to have the dishwasher installed and I am VERY VERY unhappy with the way I was treated especially when I spent thousands of dollars buying appliances for my new home. I still do not have a new dishwasher and I will never buy your products again.

I had to turn my hot water temp. up and use the high water temp. feature on the dishwasher to finally get dry dishes. New dishwashers due a poor job of drying dishes unless the water temperature is about 130 degrees. It also helps to have the rinse aide setting fairly high as well. Other than the drying issue it seems to do a good job of washing.

Got this for my 80-year-old mom. Looks sleek modern stainless steel, she liked the stainless steel tub inside since we have hard water and plastic really got ugly in the Whirlpool she had, which only had for four years before it died. At first, we were dismayed because the cycles were all longer than 3 hours. But after some research we chilled out realizing the long cycles is why it's energy saving...and I thought there was no quick cycle, but actually there is. It's the energy saving cycle at 82 minutes. And even without rinse aid, or hot heat, dishes are sparkling and even most plastics came out dry. Happy dance. And no filmy residues. Mom said, OH I like it," That's high praise from a picky mom. Also we had some issues at installation...crooked and not flush but the machine has adjustablabilty so fixed. The machine started but then stopped, turns out it's sensors know when the door isn't fully closed, installers put a screw in a place preventing the machine from knowing the door was closed. So what we thought was a defective machine was actually installer issues. I nearly returned a great machine, but mom is so happy we didn't. Solid machine, doesn't feel or look cheap. There's a 3rd rack. It's adjustable for big pots in ways the Whirlpool wasn't. The delay function is cool so i make sure the machine starts during super saver electric hours. Highly recommend this shiny workhorse. Very reasonably affordable, does an awesome cleaning job. Mom doing happy dance. Wish it had a "cycle complete sound or light indicator or a way to notify the dishes are done. But the main thing is ...it does a fantastic job cleaning....our electric bills are the same or lower...

We bought this dishwasher after moving. We previously had a Gallery version of it in our old house, which did have a few nicer features than this one does, such as rubbery holders for wine glasses and such. This model has an upper silverware tray as well as a traditional silverware basket - the downside is that if you take the silverware basket out, there's not really any functional space that's gained due to the design and placement of the bottom rack's prongs. This dishwasher does a good job cleaning, is quiet, and looks great.

I have used frigidare appliances for about 8 years. I just moved and had to leave my appliances behind. New home had another brand and great working appliances. I just did not like some features and had to replace with firgidare dishwasher. The interior design hold so much more and can use the top rack for rubber ware as it should be used. Only thing I miss is the light on the bottom letting me know it's done.

I had a Frigidaire Dishwasher before this one, it was in the newly constructed house when we bought it, so it was new. We had it for 11 years and I only had to replace the door gasket twice and a water shut off valve, that™™s what made us stick with Frigidaire. We got an upgraded one with the stainless steel tub and few other little things. The reasons for the 4 stars and not 5 is the fact that is runs twice as long as my old one to wash the same amount of dishes. Yes it is amazingly quiet, you don™™t even know it is on hardly. One the other hand I bought this one also for the fact it has some sort of new drying technology, well they need to go back to the drawing board on that one. I have it set on heat dry, not just air dry, and I still have water on glasses, bowls, lids, and a little on silverware, not to mention the wet top rack for utensils. I was just on the assumption, with the price I paid, as long as it is washing and dries, that my dishes would be dry. They are clean, but in my opinion the dishes coming out of my old dishwasher looked cleaner and more dry. It was a $350 computer board in the door of the old one that had to be replaced, we figured just add another $350 to that and we could get a new one. Like I said, It™™s very quiet, but sometimes I wish I had fixed the old one. Plus they changed the racks around and my dishes don™™t fit right in the top rack, I can only get about 3/4 of the bowls and lids in that I use to. Over all, all the features it has on it, the only one that delivers 100% is that it is quiet, but on the other hand, my dishes could be cleaner and drier.
